Kent McDonald spent more than 15 years building and leading his own financial advice practice in Brisbane, helping clients build wealth and protect their families and businesses. In 2024 that practice became part of Queensland Financial Group.

Kent is now an Advice Consultant with the firm, working alongside our advisers on strategy and technical questions rather than in a client-facing role. His clients are looked after across our advisory team, so the relationships and history he built continue here.

• Queensland state chair of MDRT from 2020 to 2024 — the Million Dollar Round Table, the global association representing the top tier of financial advisers
• Long experience across strategic financial advice, pre-retirement strategy, cashflow management and wealth protection
